Shanachie Greens, Inc.

My name is Shane Burke and I am a long time golfer.  About 6 years ago I decided I had to have my own putting green.  I called a couple companies for estimates and they didn’t even show up.    I put about a years worth of research into which products were the best and decided to install one myself.    For this reason, I decided to start my own company.  

One easy avenue to take was to join a franchise, one of a few in the area and sell their product.   The only problem with this was I did not want to sell a product that I didn’t even feel was up to par with what I had installed in my own yard.  I could not bring myself to pitch a product that I would not feel comfortable using myself.    I made the choice to start from scratch and start my own company.  And since then, I have not only installed many new greens, but I have replaced many of my competitors greens due to mold, customer dissatisfaction with the sand infill in both nylon and polypropylene carpets.

This was the beginning of Shanachie Greens.  We’re  located in Cleveland, Ohio.  (Locally owned and operated.)   All of our raw materials come from local suppliers.  We are NOT a franchise, therefore, all photos on this website are of our actual installs.    (They are not stock photos shared by franchise operators)   Sure there are a few putting green companies out there to choose from,  but once you start researching the differences in greens and infill and the base, I’m convinced that Shanachie Greens will be the only choice for you.
